Colorado Mountain Bike Series

Type3Adventures

ColoradO Mountain Bike Series

We want to get out and meet new guys in 2023, so we’ve made it simple. We’re taking one of our favorite activities and turning it into a series so the Type3Community can expand and continually meet for adventure and good times.

These rides are low commitment, no cost, and designed just to be a fun time exploring a variety of trails in, and around Colorado’s Northern Front Range.

As the series progresses, we hope you’ll be interested in our season-ending Hut-to-Hut trip planned for the end of September out on the Western Slope.

Join us for one, or for all, and meet a killer community of guys here in Colorado.

Challenge yourself to be better

All of our trips are designed to push participants physically and mentally. That being said, for these rides any guy is welcome. All levels can do these rides if you’re willing to push yourself a little. Not all riders move at the same pace, and this is NOT a race. This is a group event and we are committed to getting the whole group to the finish as a team.

Each trail in this series is a bit different and offers new challenges. Let it be a surprise or look up the trail descriptions on your own, that’s up to you. We’ll plan the routes and make sure each outing has a little of everything!

Riding bikes in the summer in Colorado can be hot, even in the evenings. So bring plenty of water, snacks, and be prepared for any weather that may roll in, we’ll be riding rain or shine as long as the trails are in stable conditions.

We’ll provide a few post-ride beers. Everything else is on you. We are partners with a few local bike shops along the front range, so if you need anything let us know and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Mountain Biking: Mountain bike, helmet, chamois, non-cotton layers, rain jacket, sun glasses, non-cotton socks, mountain bike shoes, water, snacks, and trail repair kit.

You will be responsible for getting yourself to and from the trail heads, but we’ll bring some extra water, and have a few cold ones for after each ride.

Our staff are certified in wilderness medicine and are trained to T3L’s high standards in risk management and group facilitation.

We believe that being outdoors is a great way to manage your own mental well-being during the the ongoing pandemic. As with everything we do, risk management is also a cornerstone at Type3Life. While we know everyone is tired of dealing with this, we do expect everyone to follow our COVID-19 guidelines while on our trips to help manage the safety of the group.

If you’re feeling sick at all, please skip a ride and join us on the next outing. There’s no reason to spread anything just to participate in one of these rides. We will communicate specifics with you if any issues arise, but if you have any questions, please reach out to us.

We recommend all of our participants look into purchasing their own personal insurance prior to any outings as these free evening rides are not covered by Type3Life insurance.

T3L will have a cell phone and a satellite communication device for emergency situations. In the unlikely event of an emergency, T3L will contact EMS.

Our trips are all about getting out into the most incredible places on earth with a group of guys looking to push themselves outside of their normal comfort zone. What separates a T3L trip is our emphasis on experiencing the most amazing places in nature, balanced with our dedication to building a community of guys who have your back. We do have intentional moments of reflection built into each trip, but we focus on letting the people and the place come together organically for a unique experience each day.

All of our trips are designed to push participants physically and mentally. That being said, every man can benefit from our trips, not just the super fit. If this experience sounds cool, but you’re not sure if you’ll be able to do it, we recommend reaching out to us and we can talk about it. If we don’t think you can safely participate, we’ll find the right trip for you.

Each T3L trip is unique, but the commonality between each group is the community of guys that you ride with. With that, we just ask that you come ready to be a part of the group and treat your fellow members with respect.

If you have any questions about your ability to participate in this trip, we recommend chatting with the T3L team.

Type3Life trips are not intended to be wilderness therapy. Our intention is to build community, create bonds, and explore kick-ass places.

If you need therapeutic resources please reach out and we will do our best to point you in the right direction

Challenges are just opportunities

Test your limits

This Type3Series is a great way to introduce men to Type3Life and experience some of the best trails the Front Range area has to offer in a fully supported format that frees you up to focus on all the fun, the community around you, and none of the logistics.

All of our rides are designed to push participants physically and mentally. That being said, any rider, or any ability is welcome. Not all riders move at the same pace, and this is NOT a race. This is a group event and we are committed to getting the whole group to the destination as a team.
