What does Type3Life mean?

Type3Life: Our name comes from the idea of Type3Fun, where taking on challenges headfirst leads to growth and change. Living a Type3Life is an ethos, not just a designation on the Fun Scale.

Type3Ethos: Living confidently is the knowledge that you can overcome challenges or adversity and that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness. It’s the belief that grit and fortitude are carved from our experiences which make us stronger.

Type3Community: The bonds you build by taking on adventurous challenges with other men are lifelong.

What we do

The Nitty Gritty

The main component of a Type3Life trip is a kick-ass wilderness-based adventure. Our trips center around hiking, kayaking, packrafting, rafting, canyoneering, climbing, camping, riding, and the list goes on and on.

But there’s a secondary component that focuses on the importance of connection with other guys. Through our intentional trip planning and challenging excursions a Type3Community will be born and bonds made.

We’ll also spend a little time breaking down some of the issues we face in the field which relate to the hurdles that surface in our day-to-day lives in the front-country.

Ultimately, you’ll learn to live a Type3Life, and walk away with confidence in yourself and trust in your community.
